Three Wise Monkeys Symbol

Three Wise Monkeys represent 3 attributes of: 

• See No Evil
• Hear No Evil
• Speak No Evil

And sometimes there's another one of "Do No Evil."

It's similar with Confucius's teaching of "Look not at what is contrary to propriety; listen not to what is contrary to propriety; speak not what is contrary to propriety; make no movement which is contrary to propriety."

Wise Much?

I have been a big fan of three wise monkeys since I watched a cartoon featuring them when I was a Kid. Until now I'm still a big fan.

When I can help it I try not to be Snoopy, Gossipy and  Nosy with other people's matter.

I heard that Mahatma Gandhi used to keep a figurine of this three monkeys with him until the day he died.

No wonder he's so wise.
